Poovar
Poovar is a legendary coastal village located at the southern tip of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The name is derived from "Poo" (flower) and "Aar" (river), a name reportedly given by the King Marthanda Varma when he saw the river covered in fallen flowers.
