Ramling Caves

Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India
Located in the scenic village of Palsambe, the Ramling Caves are ancient monolithic structures dedicated to Lord Shiva. These caves are carved out of a single rock and are believed to date back to the Pandava era. The main attraction is the Shivlinga which is naturally showered by a constant drip o f water from the cave ceiling. During the monsoon, a beautiful waterfall cascades over the entrance of the caves, creating a mystical and serene atmosphere. The site is surrounded by dense forests and provides a perfect escape from city life. It is not just a religious site but also a spot for nature lovers who enjoy the sound of trickling water and the sight of ancient rock architecture.
