Place Overview: Seethargundu Viewpoint is a stunning natural attraction nestled in the high ranges of Nelliyampathy in Palakkad. This spot is legendary for its association with the Ramayana, where it is believed that Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana stayed during their exile. The viewpoint offers a pa noramic 360-degree vista of the deep valleys and the vast expanse of Palakkad's plains below. It is famous for its misty atmosphere and the Seethargundu Waterfall that plunges from a height of nearly 100 feet. The area is surrounded by lush organic tea, coffee, and orange plantations. Visitors can experience a refreshing climate even during summer. The trek to the point is scenic and relatively easy for all age groups. It provides a peaceful escape from the urban noise. The viewpoint is managed under the POABS Estate area.
