Health & Safety: Stay on the designated paths and bunds. The salt pans can have soft mud that is dangerous to walk on. Carry insect repellent as wetlands can have many mosquitoes and flies.

Accommodation: Stay in Dwarka or Mithapur. There are no stay options at the sanctuary itself. Tata Chemicals has a guesthouse in Mithapur, but it requires prior booking and permission.
