Bagore Ki Haveli

Udaipur, Rajasthan, India
Heritage of Amar Chand Badwa: Bagore Ki Haveli is a magnificent 18th-century palace situated right on the waterfront of Lake Pichola. Built by the Prime Minister of Mewar, it features over 138 rooms decorated with exquisite mirror work and paintings. The haveli was later occupied by the royal famil y and has now been converted into a museum that showcases the lifestyle of the Rajput royalty. It is world-famous for its evening cultural performances that bring Rajasthani folk music and dance to life. The museum inside displays royal costumes, jewelry boxes, and the world’s largest turban. The haveli's transition from a residence to a cultural hub makes it a primary attraction in Udaipur.
