Things To Do
-
Wildlife Safari: Hire a forest-approved jeep to venture deep into the sanctuary. The rough terrain and the possibility of spotting a leopard or a herd of bison make for a heart-pounding adventure.
Primate Trekking: Embark on a guided walk to hear and see the Hoolock Gibbons. These apes are known for their loud, musical calls that echo through the forest at dawn.
Bird Watching at the Reservoir: Head to the edge of the Dumboor lake within the sanctuary. Use a spotting scope to identify various migratory ducks, geese, and the majestic Osprey.
Climbing Watchtowers: Spend an hour at one of the forest watchtowers. Sitting quietly at a height gives you the best chance of seeing animals like Sambar or Barking Deer as they come to drink water.
