Raima Waterfall

Melaghar, Tripura, India
Raima Waterfall is one of the most scenic natural attractions in Tripura, located in the lush green hills of the Gandacherra sub-division. It is named after the Raima river, which flows through this hilly terrain. The waterfall is relatively untouched by mass tourism, making it a perfect spot for n ature lovers. The water cascades down from a significant height into a rocky pool below. The surrounding area is covered in thick tropical forests, home to various bird species. The sound of the falling water combined with the chirping of birds creates a serene environment. It is a popular spot for locals during the picnic season. The journey to the waterfall involves traveling through winding hill roads with beautiful vistas. The site is close to the massive Dumboor Lake, allowing tourists to combine both in one trip. It is a place that highlights the raw, natural beauty of the North East.
