Bor Tiger Reserve is a prestigious wildlife sanctuary that gained the status of a Tiger Reserve in July 2014. It is famously known as the smallest tiger reserve in India, covering an area of approximately 138 Square Kilometres. Despite its compact size, it serves as a crucial corridor for tigers mo ving between Pench and Tadoba reserves. The sanctuary is centered around the Bor Dam reservoir, which provides a perennial water source for the wildlife. The forest type is predominantly Southern Tropical Dry Deciduous, featuring trees like Teak, Ain, and Tendu.
