By Train: The closest and most convenient railhead is Kurukshetra Junction (KKDE). The museum is located only about 4-5 KMS from the station. The station is a major stop on the main Delhi–Ambala–Kalka railway line, well-connected to all major Indian cities.
By Road: Kurukshetra is well-connected by National Highway 44 (NH 44), which runs from Delhi to Ambala. Regular bus services (both state-run and private) are available from cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Ambala, and Karnal. The museum is easily reachable by road, being situated on Pehowa Road near the university.
By Local Transport: From Kurukshetra Junction railway station or the main bus stand, you can easily hire an auto-rickshaw, a cycle-rickshaw, or a local taxi. Shared auto-rickshaws are a cost-effective option and widely available. Ensure you negotiate the fare beforehand, especially with auto-rickshaws.
