How to Reach

By Air: Nearest major airport is Tezpur Airport (TEZ), Rs.190 KMS away. From there, hire a pre-booked taxi or take a shared cab via Bomdila to Dirang, then a local taxi to the orchards.

By Train: Nearest major railway station is Rangapara North Junction (RPN) in Assam, Rs.170 KMS away. Alternatively, Guwahati Railway Station is Rs.340 KMS. Hire a taxi or take a public bus to Dirang.

By Road: Dirang is on the NH13 (Trans-Arunachal Highway). Regular taxis (Sumo/Bolero) and public buses connect Dirang with Bomdila (Rs.42 KMS) and Tawang (Rs.140 KMS). The Orchards are Rs.7 KMS from Dirang town.

By Local Transport: The most common local transport is a shared or private taxi (usually a Sumo or a Bolero) from the Dirang market area to Sangti Valley and the surrounding orchards. A short, scenic trek is also possible from the main road. The roads are generally motorable, though can be uneven.
