Bendi Dam is a significant irrigation project and a popular recreational spot located just a short drive from the main town of Latehar. The dam is built across a local rivulet and creates a massive reservoir that serves as a vital water source for the surrounding agricultural lands. By Train: Latehar Railway Station is just 10 KMS away and is the most convenient way to reach the area.

By Road: One can drive or take an auto-rickshaw from Latehar town which takes about 20-30 minutes through the local roads.

By Local Transport: Shared autos frequently run toward the Bendi area making it very accessible for budget travelers.
