How To Reach Gauri Shankar Temple

Details: The Gauri Shankar Temple is a 12th-century stone structure situated in the historic village of Naggar. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati, representing the divine union of power and devotion. It is one of the oldest structures in the region and is current ly maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Unlike many modern temples, it remains open to the sky without a roof over the main deities, allowing visitors to feel a direct connection with nature. The spiritual aura here is palpable, drawing thousands of devotees and history enthusiasts annually. Surrounded by lush greenery and the mighty Beas River valley, it offers a peaceful retreat for soul-seekers.
