By Train: Jalna is the nearest major railway station, roughly 90 KMS from Lonar.
By Road: Regular state transport buses (MSRTC) run from Aurangabad to Lonar via Jalna and Sindkhed Raja.
By Local Transport: Taxis and private cars are the most comfortable way to travel from Aurangabad, taking about 3. 5 hours. Local autos are available within Lonar village for short distances.
