Sanganer Airport, Jaipur - JAI): The nearest major airport is Jaipur International Airport (JAI), located approximately 206 KMS away from Bundi. From the airport, one can hire a pre-booked taxi or use ride-sharing services for the 4-5 hour road journey to Bundi. Alternatively, one can take a flight to Udaipur or Jodhpur, but Jaipur is the most convenient in terms of distance and connectivity. Upon reaching Bundi, take a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to the Nagar Sagar Kund.

By Train (Nearest Major Railway Station:

Kota Junction - KOTA): The nearest major railway station is Kota Junction (KOTA), which is extremely well-connected to major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Kolkata. Kota is about 35-40 KMS from Bundi. From Kota Junction, numerous local trains, taxis, or buses are available to reach Bundi. The journey from Kota to Bundi takes about 1 hour. A more direct, but less-frequent, option is Bundi Railway Station (BUDI). Once in Bundi, the Nagar Sagar Kund is a short ride from the main railway station or city center.

By Road (Bus and Private Vehicle): Bundi is well-connected by road to major cities in Rajasthan and neighboring states via National and State Highways. Regular State Transport Buses (RSRTC) and private buses operate from Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, and Udaipur. Hiring a private taxi or driving your own vehicle offers the most flexibility. The drive from Jaipur is approximately 4-5 hours. The Nagar Sagar Kund is located near the Chauhan Gate, which is a known landmark, and easily reachable by road transport within the city.

By Local Transport (Within Bundi): Once in the city of Bundi, the best and most traditional way to reach the Nagar Sagar Kund is by auto-rickshaw or a cycle-rickshaw. Given its proximity to the city center (only 1-2 KMS), it is also a pleasant 20-minute walk through the old city, which is highly recommended for soaking in the atmosphere. Ask for the kund near the Chauhan Gate.
