Naldehra is a small but world-renowned hill station located at an altitude of 2,200 Meters above sea level. He even named his third daughter Alexandra Naldehra as a tribute to this place. The name Naldehra itself is derived from two words: 'Nag' meaning snake and 'Dehra' meaning abode, referring to the ancient Mahunag Temple that stands within the grounds of the golf course. The landscape is characterized by a massive sloping meadow surrounded by a thick canopy of ancient Deodar trees that block out the sun in many places, creating a mystical and cool atmosphere even during the height of summer. By Air: Shimla Airport is 35 KMS away. Taxis are readily available from the airport to Naldehra.

By Train: The Kalka-Shimla Toy Train is a great way to reach Shimla, followed by a 23 KM drive to Naldehra.

By Road: It is a smooth drive from Shimla on the State Highway 13. The road is well-maintained and very scenic.
