Dimension: It measures approximately 15m by 15m with a raised plinth to protect against local flooding. The basement consists of small cellars with arches that are about 5 feet high, used for storage and defense. A staircase leads to a single large room on the upper floor, surrounded by deep verandahs on three sides. The thick walls were designed to withstand heavy fire, which was crucial during the 1857 revolt. The roof is flat, providing a strategic viewpoint of the surrounding grounds of the Ramna Maidan. Its architecture is functional yet typical of the British colonial era's minor residential buildings in India. -
