Sukanta Academy
Aims and Dedication: Named after the celebrated Bengali poet Sukanta Bhattacharya, the academy was established in 1997 to foster a scientific temperament and promote arts and culture among students and the public. It serves as Tripura's premier science center. Key Facilities: It features a variety o f interactive exhibits, educational galleries, and a planetarium that regularly hosts scientific films and shows. The academy includes a Pet Corner, an Energy Park, a Fun Science Gallery, and dedicated galleries for ISRO and the Railway. Role in Education: The academy offers a vibrant platform for interactive learning, making complex scientific principles accessible and fun, particularly for children and students on study tours.
