Packing:
Attire: Dress modestly and respectfully. For both men and women, this means covering the shoulders, chest, and knees. Indian traditional wear (like Sarees or Salwar Kameez for women, and Kurta Pyjamas or trousers for men) is always appropriate.
Essentials: Keep your personal belongings secure, though the temple environment is generally very safe.
Accommodation: Silchar city has several hotels and guesthouses catering to different budgets, from luxury to budget. Since the temple is centrally located, staying in the nearby Ambica Patty or Tarapur areas is convenient. The temple complex itself sometimes offers limited guesthouse facilities for serious devotees.

Respectful Conduct: Maintain silence and respect the sanctity of the main temple hall. Avoid talking loudly or using your phone during Aarti or discourse.
Photography: Reiterate to ask temple management for permission before using flash photography inside the main hall.
Food: Take the opportunity to enjoy the pure, Sattvic food (Prasadam) offered by the temple's kitchen.
