Zawru Valley
Pristine Wilderness: The Zawru Valley is one of the most secluded and least explored valleys in the Dibang Valley, known for its raw, unspoiled wilderness. It is an important ecological corridor in the upper Himalayan region, often enveloped in a thick canopy of moist temperate forests and surrounde d by high, unnamed peaks. The valley is crossed by several glacial streams, and its terrain is rugged and difficult to traverse, making it a destination primarily for dedicated trekkers and explorers. Its remoteness ensures that its biodiversity, including rare mammals and birds, remains completely protected, offering a true sense of the unexplored frontier of India. The local Idu Mishmi tribe holds the valley in high spiritual regard.
