Anand Bhavan
Anand Bhavan is the historic former residence of the Nehru family, built by Motilal Nehru in 1927 to replace the original one (which was renamed Swaraj Bhawan). It served as a vital center of the Indian National Congress and a hub of the Indian independence movement. Donated to the nation in 1970 b y Indira Gandhi, it is now a museum showcasing memorabilia related to the Nehru family and the freedom struggle, including the personal belongings of Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi.
