Chhab Talav
Chhab Talav is a historic and scenic lake located right in the heart of Dahod city. Legend says that the lake was dug out by the soldiers of King Siddhraj Jaisinh using their baskets (Chhabs) while they were camping here on their way to Malwa, which gives the lake its unique name. Recently, it has undergone a massive transformation under the Dahod Smart City Mission, making it a modern hub for recreation and leisure. The lakefront now features a beautiful promenade, lush green gardens, and a calm environment that offers a perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. It serves as the primary lung of the city where locals gather for morning walks and evening relaxation. The water body is well-maintained and provides a picturesque backdrop for the entire town.
