Bhamrechi Mata Temple

Dahod, Gujarat, India
The Bhamrechi Mata Temple is a deeply revered Hindu shrine located in the serene surroundings of Randhikpur, about 40 KM from Dahod. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhamrechi Mata, an incarnation of the Divine Mother. The temple is situated on the scenic banks of the Kabutari River, which adds a layer of natural beauty to the spiritual experience. According to local folklore, the temple dates back to the Mahabharata era, and it is believed that the Pandavas visited this site during their exile. The idol of the Goddess is considered Swayambhu (self-manifested), making it a significant pilgrimage spot for the tribal communities of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The landscape around the temple is characterized by small hills and caves, some of which are said to have been created by the mighty Bhima. The atmosphere here is exceptionally peaceful, away from the hustle of city life, making it a perfect spot for those looking to connect with both divinity and nature.
