Cooch Behar Rajbari Park
The Cooch Behar Rajbari Park is the sprawling landscape surrounding the majestic Cooch Behar Palace. Designed during the reign of Maharaja Nripendra Narayan, the park is a masterpiece of European-style landscaping. It features manicured lawns, vibrant flower beds, and ancient trees that provide sha de to visitors. The park is the perfect place to admire the exterior of the palace, which was modeled after the Buckingham Palace in London. The greenery serves as a lung for the city, where locals and tourists come for morning walks and leisure. The park also houses the venue for the famous Light and Sound Show. Walking through the paved paths, one can feel the royal grandeur of the Koch dynasty. The park is meticulously maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
