How to Reach
By Road: Bumla Pass is an isolated outpost. It can only be reached by road from Tawang town (approx. 37 KM). The road is extremely rugged and requires an experienced driver and a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle, which must be hired in Tawang.
Local Transport: A special Army Permit must be obtained in addition to the ILP/PAP, and the vehicle registration must be noted on the permit. Shared taxis for this specific route are rare; private hire is the norm. ()
