How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra International Airport (IXB), located about 50 Kms away. From the airport, one can hire a private taxi to Bunkulung via the Siliguri-Mirik Road, which takes approximately 2 hours.

By Train: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is the closest major railway station, roughly 48 Kms from the village. Taxis are readily available at the station for a direct trip.

By Road: Bunkulung is well-connected to Siliguri, Mirik, and Darjeeling. From Siliguri, the route follows the Hill Cart Road and then branches off towards Soureni. The road is scenic but can be narrow in some sections.

By Local Transport: Shared jeeps run frequently from Siliguri Junction to Mirik. You can get down at Soureni Bazaar and then take a local taxi for the remaining 7 Kms to Jayanti Nagar.
