By Train: The most convenient major railhead is Khandwa Junction (KNW, 70 KMS), or Indore Junction (INDB). From the station, connect to Omkareshwar by bus or taxi. Omkareshwar Road (OM) is a minor station (12 KMS).
By Road: Omkareshwar is easily accessible by road from key cities in Madhya Pradesh. Public and private buses run regularly from Indore, Khandwa, and Ujjain.
By Local Transport: The temple is on Mandhata Island and is reached by crossing the Narmada River via the footbridge or boat. From the main temple complex, it requires a short walk along the well-marked Parikrama path, which can be reached via local shared auto-rickshaws or walking from the main temple complex. No vehicles can reach the temple directly. :
