The Sagar Talab View: Turn your camera towards the massive lake nearby. The reflection of the sky in the water, combined with the greenery of the surrounding hills, creates a perfect landscape composition.Photo Gallery
Things To Do
-
Test the Echo: This is the most essential activity. Try different sounds—claps, whistles, or calling out names—to see how the echo changes. It is fun for groups and families to see who can produce the clearest echo.
Panoramic Viewing: Use binoculars to look out over the Nimar valley. On a clear day, you can see the distant Narmada river shimmering in the sun. It is one of the best spots to understand the strategic height of Mandu.
Nature Photography: The cliff edge is perfect for wide-angle shots of the landscape. During the monsoon, the mist and clouds provide a dramatic, ethereal quality to the photographs.
Sunset Watching: While many go to the Roopmati Pavilion for sunset, Echo Point offers a less crowded but equally stunning view of the sky changing ...

Breathtaking Panoramas: It offers some of the best views of the Nimar Valley. The contrast between the high plateau of Mandu and the low-lying plains of Dharampuri is most visible from here. It is also famous for the "Waterfall Views" during the monsoon, when the hills turn into a vertical green carpet. -

The cliff face drops nearly 300 Meters into the valley, creating a vertical sound reflector. The orientation of the surrounding hills creates a natural bowl that traps and reflects sound waves efficiently.
Acoustic Design: Some historians suggest the nearby Dai-ki-Chhoti-Bahen-ka-Mahal was positioned to take advantage of these acoustics. The open space at the point can accommodate about 50 People at once. The rugged stone edges have been reinforced with safety railings to allow visitors to stand at the prime echo spot. -
