How to Reach

By Air: Nearest airport is Patna (PAT), approx. 80 KMS. From Patna, take a taxi to Muzaffarpur. The lake is near the Akharaghat area, a local taxi/auto can easily reach it.

By Train: Muzaffarpur Junction (MFP) is the main station, about 5-6 KMS away. Hire a private auto-rickshaw or taxi, specifying Sikandarpur Lake or Akharaghat.

By Road: The wetland is located near the main road network leading out of the city towards the Akharaghat area. Local transport finds it easily.

By Local Transport: Shared Auto-rickshaws (Tuk-Tuks) ply the route towards Akharaghat and surrounding areas. A private e-rickshaw is the most comfortable and direct option.
