How to Reach

By Air : The nearest airport is Dimapur Airport (Nagaland), located about 60 KMS away, or Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, which is about 270 KMS away. From the airport, one can hire a private taxi to reach Diphu and then proceed to Siloni.

By Train : Diphu Railway Station is the closest railhead, well-connected to Guwahati and Dimapur. From the station, you can find local taxis or auto-rickshaws. The train journey offers scenic views of the Assam plains and the rising hills of Karbi Anglong.

By Road : Siloni is accessible via National Highway 36. The road from Diphu town is well-maintained for the most part, though some interior stretches may be bumpy. Private cars and SUVs are the best way to travel as they provide the flexibility to carry picnic supplies.

By Local Transport : Local buses ply between Diphu and Bakalighat. From the Bakalighat stop, shared taxis or private autos are available for the final few kilometers. However, hiring a dedicated vehicle from Diphu for the entire day is the most convenient option for tourists.
