Guwahati is well-connected to all major cities across India via a robust rail network. From the station, you can easily find taxis, auto-rickshaws, or local city buses heading towards the Panjabari area. The journey time from the station to the complex is about 25 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic congestion in the city center.
By Road (Inter-State and Local Driving): Guwahati is well-connected by National Highways, including NH27 and NH17, which link it to other states in the Northeast and mainland India. The Kalakshetra itself is easily accessible by road, situated on Panjabari Road. If driving from within Guwahati, the route is straightforward, often taking 20 to 30 minutes from the main city areas. Bus services from nearby cities like Shillong or Tezpur often stop at the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT), from where you would need to take a local taxi or bus to the final destination (ISBT is about 13-15 KMS away).

Auto-rickshaws are readily available and can take you directly to the gate, but it is advised to settle on a fare before starting the journey or ensure the meter is used. City Buses also ply routes that go near Panjabari, offering the most economical way to travel, though they can be crowded. For ease and comfort, a hired taxi or ride-share is the best option for tourists.
