Dimensions and Levels: The towering nine-story structure was, at the time of its construction, one of the tallest buildings in the region. The upper floors were reserved for the royal family, while the lower floors contained storage rooms, stables, and administrative offices. The walls are thick, tapering towards the top for stability against seismic activity. The architecture is characterized by elegant simplicity, lacking the ornamentation found in later Dogra constructions. It features narrow staircases and vast halls, now housing a museum with rich collections of royal artifacts, ceremonial dresses, and crowns.
