Lengteng Wildlife Sanctuary, a declared protected area, is a jewel in the crown of Mizoram's ecological heritage. Located in the eastern part of the Saitual district, this sanctuary is known for its stunning alpine forests and exceptional avian biodiversity. The sanctuary encompasses Lengteng Peak, the second-highest peak in Mizoram, which reaches an elevation of 2,141 meters (7,024 feet).
