Irrigation and Field Structures: The architecture of Lousi Pat is defined by its functional hydraulic engineering. The main drainage canal, a significant feat of local engineering, is approximately 5 kilometers long and 10 meters wide, featuring several small sluice gates made of stone and iron. Dotted across the fields are 'Lou-sang' (field huts), which are simple bamboo structures measuring 4 meters by 3 meters, used by farmers for resting and storing tools. These huts are built with high stilts to stay above the water level during the peak rainy season. -
