Maharshi Kardam Park
Details: Maharshi Kardam Park is a beautifully landscaped urban park located in the Lakhibagi area of Koderma. Spread over approximately two acres, the park is named after the ancient saint Maharshi Kardam, who is believed to have performed deep meditation in this region during the Treta Yuga. The p ark serves as a green lung for the city, offering a peaceful environment for both locals and tourists. It features well-maintained lush green lawns, a variety of seasonal flowering plants, and paved walking paths. For children, there is a dedicated play area equipped with modern swings, slides, and see-saws. The park also includes an open-air gym facility, which is very popular among the youth and elderly residents for morning exercises. A majestic statue of Saint Kardam is installed at the center, serving as a reminder of the area's spiritual heritage.
