These stones, varying from 1 to 4 meters in height, are placed at strategic points like the village entrance and the Chief's courtyard. The traditional houses are built using massive wooden pillars and thatched roofs, though many are now replaced by tin. A unique architectural feature is the "Morung" or bachelor's dormitory, which serves as a center for learning and social bonding. The village is divided into "Khels" or sectors, each with its own gate and meeting area. The dimensions of the main village square are approximately 50x50 meters, used for communal ceremonies.
