Murlen National Park
Saiha (also known as Siaha), Mizoram, India
Murlen National Park is a relatively small but highly biodiverse protected area in the Champhai district. It is part of the Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot and is known for its dense, pristine forests. The park is often referred to as a "nocturnal forest" because of its thick canopy that allows very little sunlight to reach the forest floor. The park is a haven for a wide variety of flora and fauna, including some rare and endemic species. The park is a great place for eco-tourism and adventure.
