The Siddhagiri Gramjivan Museum, popularly known as Kaneri Math, is a breathtaking open-air wax museum that brings the traditional village life of Maharashtra to life. Spread across 7 acres, it was the dream project of Mahatma Gandhi, realized by H.H. Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji. The museum features ove r 3,000 lifelike statues depicting 80 different scenes of self-sufficient village ecosystems before the Mughal era. Every sculpture is crafted with minute detail, showing people engaged in occupations like farming, pottery, and weaving. It is not just a museum but a spiritual hub centered around an ancient Shiva temple that dates back over 1,000 years. The serene environment and lush greenery make it an educational retreat for visitors of all ages. It beautifully captures the essence of "Gramjivan" (village life) with a focus on human values and harmony.
