Health and Safety: Strictly avoid swimming in the base pool as the currents are extremely dangerous; stay on the marked paths.

Packing: Carry plenty of drinking water and snacks as there are no shops near the falls.

Accommodation: Stay at the Forest Rest House in Mahuadanr or the hotels in Netarhat (61 KM).

Cash and Connectivity: There is no mobile network at the falls; the nearest ATM is in Mahuadanr town.

General Advice: Reach early in the day as the forest roads are not safe to travel after dark due to wild animals. :
