Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial

The Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial is a tribute to the "People's President" and Bharat Ratna recipient, Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, who hailed from Rameshwaram. The memorial was built by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and showcases the life and achievements o f this great scientist and leader. It was inaugurated in 2017.
