Overview: : The Sri Uma Maheshwara Temple is a 15th-century marvel dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati. This sacred site is unique because Lord Shiva is worshipped here in a human-like idol form rather than the traditional Lingam. Built by the Vijayanagara Kings, the temple is nestled amidst the sc enic Yerramala Hills, providing a spiritual atmosphere that feels like Kailash on earth.
