How To Reach Dharmanagar Railway Station Statues

Dharmanagar, Tripura, India
The Dharmanagar Railway Station Statues are a series of artistic installations placed strategically within or around the railway station premises, designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the station and often to showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage of Tripura. These statues, typica lly made of concrete or fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP), often depict themes related to local tribal life, traditional dance forms, indigenous flora and fauna, or key historical figures from the region. Their presence serves to welcome visitors arriving by train and offers a quick glimpse into the state's cultural tapestry, making the station more than just a transit point. They are an initiative to beautify public spaces and promote local art. While they may not be centuries old, they are significant modern landmarks for the town, representing a deliberate effort to blend civic infrastructure with regional identity. They are a popular subject for travelers taking a quick photo while waiting for their train.
