By Train: Guruvayur has its own railway station which is a terminus, connecting it to Thrissur and Ernakulam. Many pilgrims prefer to get down at Thrissur Railway Station, which is major and just 25 KMS away, then take a bus.
By Road: The town is well-connected by state highways to all major cities in Kerala and neighboring Karnataka. KSRTC operates regular "Fast Passenger" and "Super Fast" buses from Kochi, Thrissur, and Kozhikode throughout the day.
Local Transport: Auto-rickshaws are the most common and convenient way to get around the small town of Guruvayur. Most attractions are within a 2-3 KM radius, making it easy to travel between the temple, the camp, and your hotel.
