How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Pakyong Airport (PYG), about 40 km away. From PYG, hire a taxi directly or take a shared vehicle to Gangtok and then switch to a reserved local taxi.

By Train: The nearest major railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), about 125 km away. From NJP, take a private or shared taxi to Gangtok.

By Road: Hanuman Tok is located on the North Sikkim Highway, approximately 11 km from Gangtok town center. The road is well-maintained and highly scenic.

By Local Transport: The best way to reach is by hiring a reserved local taxi from the Gangtok taxi stand or MG Marg. It is a mandatory stop on the local Gangtok North Circuit sightseeing tour. Shared taxis are less frequent to this spot but are available on the route to Nathula Pass. Due to the distance and altitude, walking is not recommended. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes from the city center.
