Health & Safety: The altitude here (7,200 feet) is higher than Gangtok center. Take slow steps while climbing the stairs and stay hydrated. The army maintains the area well, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

Packing: Carry your government-issued ID proof, as the area is sensitive and maintained by the military. Dress modestly out of respect for the temple. Bring a heavy jacket, as it can be very cold and windy.
