By Train (The Local Lifeline of Mumbai): The nearest local railway station is Bandra Station (on the Western Line). From Bandra Station (West side), the basilica is about 3-4 KMS away. You can easily take an auto-rickshaw (recommended) or a black-and-yellow taxi directly to the church, which is located on the hill.
By Road (Bus and Private Vehicle): Bandra is highly accessible by road. Numerous BEST bus routes ply to the Bandra West area. Traveling by private car is possible, but parking is extremely difficult on the narrow, winding Mount Mary Road, especially on weekends and during the fair. It is best to use a cab service.
By Local Transport (Auto-Rickshaws and Taxis): Auto-rickshaws are the most efficient mode of local transport in Bandra and the Western Suburbs and can drop you right at the base of the hill or the church gate. Black-and-yellow taxis and app-based cabs are also abundant and highly recommended for a hassle-free journey.
