The only airport in Lakshadweep is on Agatti Island (AGX). One must take a flight from Kochi (COK) in Kerala to Agatti (approx. 1. 5 hours flight). From Agatti, Minicoy is still approximately 375 to 400 kilometers away. The final leg is by sea (Ship) or, less frequently, by a limited Helicopter service, which is subject to weather conditions and availability. The sea journey from Agatti to Minicoy is long and is usually covered by inter-island ferries or the tourist cruise ships, taking several hours (5 to 10 hours).
By Train:
