Mercara Gold Estate
Mercara Gold Estate is a premier 12-acre boutique coffee plantation that offers an immersive "bean-to-cup" experience. Established in its current form in 1998, the estate is known for producing high-quality Arabica, Robusta, and the rare Liberica coffee varieties. A guided tour here takes visitors through the lush, shade-grown plantations where coffee grows alongside pepper, cardamom, and vanilla. You learn about the intricate processes of harvesting, pulping, drying, and roasting. The estate also features the World Coffee Museum, which displays the history and global culture of coffee.
