RajgirRs.s architecture is a blend of ancient and modern, with influences from various periods. The Cyclopean Wall, a 40-kilometer-long stone structure surrounding the old city, is a prime example of ancient engineering, built without mortar. The Vishwa Shanti Stupa, a modern structure on Ratnagiri Hill, is a magnificent white marble pagoda built by the Japanese Buddhist organization Nipponzan Myohoji. It stands tall and serene, a stark contrast to the ancient ruins. The stupa is about 400 meters high. The main structure of the stupa is a large dome with four statues of the Buddha in different postures, representing his birth, enlightenment, first sermon, and death. The city's hot springs are housed in a modern temple complex called Brahmkund, where visitors can bathe in the warm waters. The modern glass bridge is a unique architectural addition, offering a thrilling experience and a stunning view of the surrounding hills and forests.
