Historical Significance in the Freedom Struggle: Gandhi Maidan, formerly known as Patna Lawns or Bankipore Maidan during the British Raj, is a site of immense historical importance. The World's Tallest Gandhi Statue: Dominating the ground is the colossal 72-foot-tall bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi, unveiled in 2014.
