How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB), approximately 95 km away. From there, you can hire a private taxi to reach Icchey Gaon via Kalimpong in about 4 hours.

By Train: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is the closest major railhead, located 90 km from the village. Shared jeeps are available up to Kalimpong, from where a private vehicle must be hired for the final 15 km stretch.

By Road: It is well connected by road from Siliguri (85 km). The route passes through the scenic Sevoke bridge and Teesta bazaar.

By Local Transport: There is no direct public bus to the village. Travelers usually take a shared taxi to Kalimpong and then rent a small car like a Maruti Omni or Sumo to navigate the narrow mountain roads leading to the hamlet.
